While there are still a few weeks to go until Thanksgiving, and the biggest shopping day of the year which follows, the promotional Black Friday deals and other discount bargain offers from several major retailers are already beginning to surface.
According to sources, the 2012 Black Friday shopping deal ads have in some cases been leaked from some retailers, while others may have leaked the ads intentionally in order to take advantage of the free added publicity. At the start of this week, Macy’s reportedly released a preview of 15 of its upcoming Black Friday shopping deals. The full release will be a 52 page circular to be released on Thanksgiving day.
If 2012 is anything like past years, the online and in-store Black Friday deals should have consumers spending substantially for the upcoming holiday season. Following closely on the heels of the nation’s largest shopping weekend will be Cyber Monday. The new addition to the start of the discount shopping frenzy has grown year after year providing consumers with impressive online shopping deals, and retailers and etailers with a nice boost in sales.
Walmart has actually started an early online sale prior to Black Friday. What the company calls their “Ultimate Online Specials” available online from their web site, is focused on providing shoppers with “incredible values on Electronics, Toys & Sports, Home, and many more amazing great gift ideas at prices that can’t be beat!.” The pre Black Friday online shopping sale is running now through November 15th and includes Free Shipping on orders over $45.
