Black Friday Deals for 2012 to Start a Day Early ‘Black Thursday’ on ThanksgivingTraditionally the Friday after Thanksgiving, dubbed ‘Black Friday’, marks the start of the holiday shopping season. The Black Friday deals are a shopping ritual for many avid shoppers, many of whom camp out overnight or his the stores as early as possible.

In recent years, many stores have opened and started the Black Friday sales at midnight after Thanksgiving, and large crowds have rushed to the openings to take advantage of special Black Friday deals and discounts. For Black Friday 2012 it appears that some stores will actually be open to start the shopping deals on Thanksgiving Day itself.

Many are calling the change Black Thursday. The Black Thursday deals will be available currently from Toys R Us and Wal-Mart. The two stores are the first to step forward to indicate that they will open their doors for bargain shoppers at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night (Thursday, Nov. 22).

Target is also getting in on the early start to Black Friday / Thursday by opening up to the deal hunting public at 9PM on Thursday. So far now other stores have come forward, but many expect others stores to follow suit.
