Casey Anthony Trial Continues: Watch Live Streaming Internet Video for Latest Updates on Day 18

The trial of Casey Anthony moves on to day 18 in the third week of testimony today. Physical evidence is stacking up favoring the prosecution. As the internet continues to stream the courtroom drama live, public opinion, and that of the media, continues to lean more in the direction of the prosecution as well.

Perhaps the most compelling indication of guilt for many is that fact that Casey waited for month before telling anyone that her 2 year old daughter was missing. In fact she only told her mother Cindy Anthony about her daughter when confronted with the fact that her car smelled like a dead body had been in it. In fact it was Cindy who actually called the police at that time as Casey still did not want to.

Broadcast of the trial proceedings take place Monday-Saturday from about 9AM to 5PM Eastern Time, with a break for lunch from 12-1:30. Video Coverage Continues Today – Watch Casey Anthony Trial Live Here:

Also tilting the case away from the defense is the endless stream of lies which have spewed from Casey Anthony’s mouth since the child went missing, and according to many character witnesses, most of her life.

The prosecution is expected to wrap up their case against Casey for the murder of her 2 year old daughter Caylee Anthony in about another week. At that time, the defense will begin its uphill battle to try to convince the jury that she is not guilty.

With all of the physical evidence pointing to a homicide the only hope of the defense is to try to place enough reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury that someone other than Casey may have committed the murder. The fact that Casey said nothing for a month after her daughter was last seen, and then lied to police repeatedly and gave them false leads as they searched for her daughter, will make it very hard to convince the jury that she had nothing to do with her daughter’s death.
