Cleveland Cavaliers Extend Losing Streak

After their loss to Detroit last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers set a new record in the NBA. Unfortunately, a record for the most consecutive losses was not something the team was hoping for.

The 103-94 loss to the Pistons makes 26 games in a row in which Cleveland has come up short of a win. As if losing LeBron James, and the circus that surrounded his departure, was not bad enough, the fans in Cleveland got yet another figurative slap in the face.

The last win for the team was on December 18th. The game against Detroit was expected to be a good chance for Cleveland to end the losing streak with a win. Their next chance to improve their record comes tomorrow against the L.A. Clippers. Unlike the Detroit game, the Cavs are not expected to win. Cleveland now stands at 8-45 at the bottom of the NBA.
