Coheed and Cambria Basist, Mike Todd, Arrested For Robbery

Micheal ToddMike Todd the bass player for Coheed and Cambria was arrested for robbing a Walgreens Pharmacy hours before the band opened for Sound Garden in Attleboro Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon. Thirty Year old Todd, showed the pharmacists a note on his telephone claiming he had a bomb and demanded six bottles of OxyContin and then caught a cab to the Comcast Center, where his band was to play the opening set before Soundgarden took the stage. He was arrested at the concert hall before the show and the band played without him.

Todd was charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of prescription narcotics. He is being held on $10,000 bail and will be arraigned on this morning.

On the band’s Facebook page the other members of the band posted a note saying Mr. Todd would be replaced by Wes Styles for the remaining dates of the tour. “We are surprised to say the least and will address the situation with Michael after the tour,” the posting said.
