First Couple is sent home on ABC's Dancing with the Stars - results revealed

For Dancing with the Stars fans, the results are in as the first couple for the season is sent home. DWTS has definitely found a home on ABC for fans around the country and as the celebrity couples get more and more interesting, so do the results.

The first parings up for elimination at the show’s opening were: Rob and Cheryl, Elisabetta and Val, and Ricki and Derek. Then the results for the group.

Ricki and Derek, safe – Elisabetta and Val, safe – Rob and Cheryl, in Jeopardy.

Next out to the stage for possible elimination were the parings of: Hope and Maks, Kristin and Mark, and Metta and Peta.

Here is how it came down: Hope and Maks, safe – Metta and Peta, Jeopardy – Kristin and Mark, safe.

Next up: Chynna and Tony, safe – JR and Karina, safe – Chaz and Lacey, safe.

And the final group: David and Kym, safe – Nancy and Tristan, jeopardy – Carson and Anna, safe.

As the 3 parings in Jeopardy take the stage, Rob and Cheryl are announced safe, leaving Metta and Peta and Nancy and Tristan as the final two couples. Then… the first couple leaving the season on Dancing with the Stars is…Metta and Peta.
