‘FUTURESCAPE’ with James Woods on Science Channel explores Advances that will Redefine Humanity

Coming up on November 19th, the Science Channel will premier is latest technology series. Dubbed ‘Futurescape’ the series narrated, and produced by Award-Winning Actor James Woods will explore a number of technological advances which will likely “redefine humanity,” according to the producers.

“What if you could read minds using a Bluetooth device, or have your own personal superhuman Iron Man-style suit? How about curing cancer by inserting a “super chip” into the human body? What was once considered science fiction is more of a reality than you may think.”

The premier of Futurescape airs on November 19 at 10 PM eastern on Science Channel. Over the course of the six-part series, the Science Channel along with James Woods will show viewers an unprecedented look at the next breakthroughs in science and technology.

“Science has fueled my imagination since I was in grade school. I had the benefit of an early education centered around the magic of understanding the universe through this magical process of thinking. My involvement in the creation of FUTURESCAPE is the fulfillment of a life long dream.” Says James Woods, host and executive producer of FUTURESCAPE.

Building on the overwhelming success of programming like the ‘Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman’ series, the Science Channel’s Futurescape is expected to become the next big thing on the network.

In each episode Woods helps the audience explore concepts like telepathy, colonizing space, achieving eternal youth and the integration of robots in our world. All of which could potentially alter life as we know it.

ROBOT REVOLUTION
