Gary Busey ‘Wife Swap’ with New Life Church pastor Ted Haggard on ABC Reality TV show
Although Busey and Steffanie Sampson are not married, the couple does share a child. As part of the show, Sampson will live with Haggard, while his wife Gayle will stay with Busey.
The episode was scheduled for taping earlier today at the GLBT Pride Center in Colorado Springs. For Busey, this is his second venture into reality TV after his part on the last season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’.
Haggard, as you may recall was caught after an affair with a gay male prostitute and has since appeared on several television talk shows including Oprah, as well as being featured in an HBO documentary.
Coincidentally, both men are now active ministers in a church. Busey is a minister with Promise Keepers and Haggard has returned to the St. James church in Colorado Springs.
The episode is expected to air later this season on the ABC show.
