Billboard Cites May 21 2011 as End of the World Judgment Day, by Harold Camping

According to Family Radio evangelist Harold Camping and other Judgment Day movement believers like Brian Haubert, May 21, 2011 is the date on which our world will come to an end.

The date, according to Haubert during an interview on NPR’s Weekend Edition, is precisely exactly 7,000 years since the time of the great flood referenced in the story of Noah. During the interview, Haubert said, “[I]t’s very hard, I worry about friends and family and loved ones. But I guess more recently, I’m just really looking forward to it.”

Many have recently noted the coincidence between the date cited by Camping and the his followers and the Judgment Day from the Terminator series.

According to Camping, who determined the May 21st date, there is no escaping the end. Many are skeptical however after Camping had previously calculated and predicted that the world would come to judgment day on September 6th 1994. After that date passed, Camping said that the miscalculation was due to incomplete research.
