NCAA Brackets Released – March Madness BeginsWith the championship games completed over the weekend, the final NCAA brackets for the NCAA championship tournament, commonly known as “March Madness” gets underway. The first round begins on the 18th when the final contenders will fight for the last slots in the 64 team bracket.

For the SEC champion Florida Gators, their run into March Madness begins on 3/20 in their home state as they take on the winner between ALBY and MSM in Orlando in the second round of the tournament. Colorado takes on Pitt earlier that day.

NCAA Brackets Released – March Madness Begins
After the 8 teams determine their fate, with 4 earning a sport in the 64 for the tournament, second round action will begin in cities across the country on March 20-21.


Cities hosting the 64 teams in the NCAA bracket for the men’s teams are Orlando, San Diego, Buffalo, St. Louis, Raleigh, Spokane, San Antonio, and Milwaukee. Each city will host 2 games on the 20th and 2 on the 21st.

As the bracket narrows from 64 teams to 32, the 3rd round will be decided on the 22nd and 23rd. Memphis, New York, Anaheim, and Indianapolis become host cities as the field of NCAA tournament hopefuls slims down to the “sweet 16” teams playing on the 27th and 28th.

The “elite 8”will learn their fate on March 29 and 30. NCAA final four fans will have to wait until April 5th to see who will survive and play in Arlington, TX for the NCAA men’s basketball national championship on April 7th.
