In a press release this week, Know Nunsense, announced the release of its Bluetooth enabled “SpyBot” surveillance app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. This first-ever iOS Bluetooth enabled app reportedly allows for instant surveillance anywhere and anytime through your apple devices.
According to the developers of the app, it will work regardless of the device’s wi-fi or mobile carrier. The Spy Bot allows users to transform their iPad, iPhone and iPod Touches into surveillance cameras sending and recording video and audio from one device’s camera to another’s screen. The app turns your iPhone/iPad into and instant spy phone capable of streaming and recording live video and audio up to 50 feet away.
“I developed Spy Bot when I was living with several roommates and no one was admitting to drinking my vodka,” stated Taylor K Hartley, the creator of the Spy Bot. “The resulting app became a more powerful tool than I had intended. I began using it at the office and with friends around town. After several successful pranks, I decided to share it with the Apple community.”
Additional features of the app include: the ability for users to record video and audio remotely; a kill button that immediately forces both devices to quit activity and return to their respective home screens to protect the identity of the user; the ability to upload videos to YouTube or send via email or text message
