All-Pro Selections Announced

A 50 person panel from the media makes up a selection group which votes to determine which players, in the National Football League, will be named All-Pro. The panel has released its selections for the 2010 season. For one player, the vote across all 50 panelists was unanimous. That player is Tom Brady.

This is the second time Brady has been selected to the All-Pro team. The first time was in 2007. Brady will be joined in All-Pro selection by his teammates Jerod Mayo (LB), and Logan Mankins (OG). As a team, the Patriots finished the season 14-2.

Also selected by the panel for All-Pro honors was rookie defensive tackle for the Detroit Loins Ndamukong Suh. Suh was the only rookie selected to the team this year.

For the Baltimore Ravens, three players were honored this year. They are Ed Reed (S), Haloti Ngata (DT), and  Billy Cundiff (K).

Oakland’s Shane Lechler (P) was chosen for the 6th time, giving him the most All-Pro selections of anyone on the 2010 team.
