One Man’s Blog Tracks His Way Back to Fitness and Health

One Man’s Blog Track His Way Back to Fitness and HealthEspecially as we age, fitness and health become more important to making life longer and more enjoyable. But for many, finding the time to exercise, and the will power to avoid the unhealthy foods which will our world can be challenging. For one man, using a blog to invite others to witness his journey back to health and fitness is providing the extra motivation to remain focused on his goals.

“I was clubbed over the head in January when I flipped on the light switch in my hotel room. It was not an intruder but my image in the bathroom mirror that attacked me. I was caught off guard by my shirtless physique. The guy looking back at me was not the real me but a wimpy version of me. How did this happen? I walked back into the bedroom and sunk into the chair. I had just been dealt a heavy blow to my ego and it took a few minutes of reflection to muster the words I needed to say… ‘What I am doing physically is not working anymore.’” writes Bradley Gann in his blog (bradleygann.blogspot.com) as he begins his 1 year transformative journey back to fitness and health, with the whole world watching.

Gann continues in his blog, explaining how he turned to the internet and YouTube for some ideas and inspiration. “After searching a bit, I found a few good videos of remarkable transformations and I made up my mind to get busy,” he explains.

For others looking for inspiration, to set a better example for his son to follow, and perhaps to help keep himself focused, Gann started his blog where he published, and continues to update, his approaching deadline of January 25, 2014. On that date he will publish his results photo for all to see. In the meantime Gann continues to blog about his daily workouts, struggles, and his focus on eating a healthy diet.

Gann’s plan is simple, and does not rely on any “quick-fix” diets, supplements or other scams. Instead, it is based on a steady and disciplined approach to a long term health and fitness lifestyle. Those interested, or in need of some inspiration of their own, can follow his progress online. As Gann wrote in his first blog entry after setting his 1-year goal, “The year will pass anyway; we might as well look great when it’s over.”
