Over 120 Bands Featured in full 2012 Lollapalooza Lineup – Tickets Still AvailableOne of the biggest music festivals of the year, known as Lollapalooza, will begin this year on August the 3rd, in Grant Park in Chicago Illinois. While the complete Lollapalooza line-up this year is extensive at more than 120 bands (see the full lineup listed below), top acts headlining at Lollapalooza 2012 include, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Florence and the Machine and Black Sabbath..

In an interview, founder of the 3-day music festival that is Lollapalooza, Perry Farrell talked about this years lineup of musicians and how each year it is a challenge to put together a great line-up for the show, “There were moments when I looked at it and I was beside myself. I didn’t know what to do.”

Among the acts performing at Lollapalooza this year are a very diverse mix from around the world including parts of Europe, South America, Asia, Australian acts from the land down-under. The mix of music has something for virtually every music taste ranging from hip hop, rap and dance, to various styles of rock and pop music.

Tickets for Lollapalooza 2012 are still available at a price of $230 for a 3-day pass. There were some early-bird passes which cost from $75 to $200, but reportedly those are now sold out. Lollapalooza was a sold out show last year with an estimated 270,000 in attendance over the three days, so those interested in buying tickets for Lollapalooza should act soon.
