Powerball Numbers Remain Elusive as Powerball Jackpot Grows to $181 Million

Powerball Jackpot grows to $181 Million for drawing Sat. Aug 4th

On Wednesday of this week there was no Powerball jackpot winner who was able to match all six numbers including the Power Ball itself. As a result, the PowerBall jackpot has continued to grow and is currently estimated at $181 million for the next drawing.

The next opportunity to win the more than $180 million jackpot in the Powerball lottery with be this Saturday when the next 5 numbers plus the 1 Power Ball will be drawn. Wednesday’s rollover of the Powerball jackpot was the 11th rollover since June 27th.

While it’s not the largest jackpot in Powerball history, this Saturday’s drawing will be impressive, provided that someone is able to match all six numbers. The top prize ever won in the Powerball lottery was back in February of 2006 when 8 workers from a meatpacking plant in Nebraska banded together to purchase the single winning ticket worth $365 million.

The winning Powerball numbers in the Wednesday drawing were 3, 16, 48, 56, 58 with a Power Ball of 4.
