Royal Wedding Coverage Streamed Live via Internet of Prince William and Kate from Buckingham Palace

Royal Wedding Coverage streamed over internet

It was the kiss seen round the world just about an hour ago. Before a local crowd of thousands in front of Buckingham Palace, the new Royal couple stepped out on the Balcony to a roar of cheers for the first public royal kiss.

While the local crowd numbered in the thousands, the number of viewers around the world numbered in the millions. All of the major television networks covered the kiss and the wedding, but online viewers made up another massive audience.

Those away from their televisions, perhaps at work or on the roar were able to follow the events as they unfolded live as well via the internet. In the office cubicle their local network allowed for the connection, while those on the go had to rely on mobile broadband networks, which would not have been possible just a few short years ago.

After the first kiss, and then a slightly longer second one, the clouds lifted up and gave way to a fly-by of some vintage, and then some modern Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft. A few more waves to the crowd and then the happy couple retreated into Buckingham Palace.

With still more events to unfold as the day continues, viewers can still rely on the Royal Channel, dedicated to all things related to the British Royal Family to continue their coverage and internet video feeds for coverage.
