Sir Richard Branson sets World Record with Kitesurfing Champion Sussi Mai (Watch Video)Well known as a man of adventure, Sir Richard Branson recently set a new Guinness World Record, this time in Kitesurfing with the help of champion kitesurfer and friend Susi Mai on Necker Island.

The new record was recorded and can be seen in the youtube video below as Branson sets the record for the “Most people riding a kite board.” Sir Branson can be seen along with 3 beauties riding a single kitesurf board.

As can be seen in the video, after successfully equalling the current Guinness World Records title for three people riding a kitesurf board, Richard and Susi set their sights on adding a new title by expanding the number to four.

Last September, Sir Branson set another kitesurfing record when he was among 318 kitesurfers to break the Guinness World Records title for the largest parade of kite surfers.

According to the press release related to the event, “Thoughts are already racing about getting a bigger board and going for five up.”

Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday said “We enjoy working with Richard on his quests to add further records to his already growing list and we’re delighted to announce that he has achieved another one! His passion for kitesurfing as well as oceanic related records is truly inspiring and we eagerly await what he has planned for the future”.
