Spurs Lead Improves to 2-0 over Thunder as NBA Playoffs Continue headed for Game 3Improving their lead to now 2-0, the San Antonio Spurs won Tuesday night’s Western Conference NBA playoff game over the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 120-111.

Leading scorers during the game 2 included Tony Parker with 34 points and eight assists, Kevin Durant scoring 31 points, Russell Westbrook with 27 points and eight assists, and Manu Ginobili scored an even 20 points on the night.

For the thunder, the loss was the only consecutive loss for the team in over a month. The 9 point difference could have been worse but the Thunder rallied in the fourth after having trailed by as much a 22 points during the third.

Moving forward, the Thunder and Spurs will face off on Thursday night in the Western Conference Finals Game 3. Badly needing a win, the Thunder should get a boost from the home crowd as they take the court in Oklahoma City. So far the team has been 5-0 on their home turf.
