Fans of the 2009 J.J. Abrams Star Trek film have reason to get excited this week as they can now go online to watch the trailer for ‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’, the sequel to the previous film.
Starring Chris Pine as Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock, along with the rest of the Enterprise crew, the new ‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’ film hits theaters this spring on May 17th. The recently released trailer for the film can be watched online below.
While the exact persona of the evil character in the film, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is not fully explained in the trailer, many are making reference to possible resurrection of a wrathful Khan.
In any case, it is clear from the ‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’ trailer that he is “an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.”
