Stephen Hawking Revises his Ideas of Black Hole Theory

Stephen Hawking Revises his Ideas of Black Hole TheoryReferring to his original theory that information was destroyed by black holes, and that nothing could escape from one, Professor Stephen Hawking recently call his assertion his “biggest blunder.”

Changing his mind on the subject, Hawking now says that is may indeed be possible for things to escape from Black Holes.

Long standing theory describes a Black Hole as an object in space which is so incredibly massive that the pull if its intense gravity field will not let anything, including light, escape.

From an interview with New Scientist, Hawking revealed that in order for this to be possible, the black holes must give up the event horizon – the point of no return surrounding the object.
