After its second round win in the annual Tavistock Cup, Team Lake Nona celebrates its third consecutive win of the golfing event. Additionally, this brings the total to four World Golf and Country Club Championship title’s for the team since the tournament began eight years ago.
The two-day event was played at the Isleworth Golf Course near Orlando, FL, home to many celebrities and golf legends like Tiger Woods. Unfortunately for the home team, the Isleworth team was surpassed by the Lake Nona group which finished 43 under par in the singles stroke-play.
Second place went to Team Albany which calls Nassau Bahamas its home. Theirs is a luxury golf community created in part by golfers Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. The host team, Isleworth finished in third place.
Next year’s Tavistock Cup will be held by this year’s winner at the Lake Nona Golf & Country club in southeast Orlando.
