In a press release , it was announced that singer and actress Naya Rivera, will be acting as host this summer for the Bud Light Music First’s 50/50/1 nationwide concert event. Rivera will host the event in a live broadcast from Los Angeles, and will provide television viewers with look-ins to different 50/50/1 shows across the country.
“Bud Light Music First reconnects fans with the artists already on their playlists and helps them discover new styles and future favorites,” said Rivera. “I’m looking forward to helping Bud Light connect the entire country through music with a one-day concert experience unlike any other.”
In preparation for her hosting gig, Rivera can be seen in a new Bud Light television spot, which begins airing this weekend, promoting 50/50/1. Additionally, fans can connect with Rivera through the Bud Light Music First Myspace hub for which Rivera has already created some custom content.
“Naya is the ideal host for 50/50/1 – she’s a funny and engaging entertainer that has a true passion for music,” said Rob McCarthy, vice president, Bud Light. “We’re excited to have her join Bud Light Music First and help us bring fans closer to the music they love.”
All Bud Light 50/50/1 concerts are open to adults 21 years of age or older. Those wanting to buy tickets, get more information about the Music First experience, or wishing to see the full 50/50/1 lineup of musical acts, can do so by visiting the interactive Bud Light Music First Myspace hub or by downloading the Bud Light Music First app (available in the iPhone and Android app stores).
Using the app, fans (at least 21 years old) can register to win one of the 500,000-plus plus prizes available, including Monster DNA Headphones, Live Nation® Concert Cash®, Universal Music Group (UMG) music downloads and 50/50/1 concert tickets. Additionally, tickets for select 50/50/1 tickets can also be purchased online at LiveNation.com.
