It’s a must win game tonight for the Chicago Blackhawks as they welcome the St. Louis Blues to their home ice, as they hope to remain alive in the race for the Central Division. St. Louis is currently eight points ahead of the Chicago and the Colorado Avalanche, who are tied at 93 points each. Because the Avalanche has had five more non-shootout victories, however, they are still ranked ahead of the Blackhawks.
Unfortunately for Chicago, they missed an opportunity to gain more points last night as they lost to the Flyers 3-2 in overtime. A win tonight would be big for Chicago, but undoubtedly St. Louis has other plans.
