Tonight’s Tostitos Fiesta Bowl features #6 Baylor taking on #15 UCF, in what will be the Central Florida school’s first BCS bowl game. The University of Central Florida (UCF) Knights are making school history with their first ever trip to a BCS game. Head Coach George O’Leary has taken the Knights from a virtual unknown to the BCS in just a handful of years.
“It’s something everyone at UCF is excited about, the administration, the fan base,” said O’Leary. “Anytime you have a first in anything, people get very excited, but especially when you’re invited to a bowl like the Fiesta.”
Each team features outstanding quarterbacks with Bryce Petty leading Baylor and Blake Bortles heading up the UCF Knights. Recent news indicates that, Bortles could go as early as number 3 in the NFL draft if he decides not to play next year for Central Florida.
Game time kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 pm eastern time, when the broadcast, both on television and online, gets underway in tonight’s Fiesta Bowl from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
