Watch NASA TV online live streaming video of Cygnus Spacecraft Return:

This Friday, August 15 the spacecraft is to return to Earth. NASA Television will provide live coverage of departure activities beginning at 6:15 a.m. EDT. Viewers can also watch the departure online thanks to the live online video from NASA television.

Orbital Sciences Corporation is one of several private contractors who are now taking over the role of providing routine access to space, including the delivery of supplies to the ISS and placing satellites into orbit.

This new strategy frees up NASA to focus more of its resources on the more cutting edge programs for true space exploration. Additionally, it is creating growth, and associated jobs, in the aerospace marketplace.

After the live coverage of the mission is complete, video replays of the Cygnus spacecraft return to Earth will be available online from NASA as well.
