Lawyers for both the prosecution and the defense in the manslaughter trial for Dr.Conrad Murray, accused of the death of pop-singer Michael Jackson, will make their closing arguments to the jury today.

Court was in recess on Wednesday to give the legal teams time to prepare. Murray himself declined to take the stand in his own defense on Tuesday. All reports indicate that the decision was not made until the last minute.
“My decision is that I will not testify in this matter,” said Murray to the judge after pausing to look at the lawyers on both sides of him.
In case you have been hiding in a cave for the past 6 weeks, Dr. Murray is on trial for manslaughter for allegedly giving Michael Jackson a fatal dose of the drug propofol, a sedative used to put patients to sleep for surgery.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
