Jeff Gordon and Denny Hamlin will round out the top three starting positions, both with speeds over the 197mph mark, and only a fraction of a second behind Busch.

Coming into today’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, Busch is 6 points behind Joey Logano who leads the race for the cup with 5 wins on the season. The remaining top 5 spots in the Sprint Cup standings are Carl Edwards, Ryan Newman, and Denny Hamlin.
