NASCAR fans will be pleased to know that all racers qualified for today’s Sprint Cup race. Team Penske will lead the field at the green starting #1 and #2 with Brad Keselowski in the #2 Ford and Joey Logano in the 22 Ford.

The duo turned in qualifying speeds of 188.791 mph and 187.175 mph respectively.

One of the big stories ahead of tonight’s Quaker State 400 is that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start 29th. It’s the the third time this season Jr.has qualified outside the top 25.

“We’ve been fighting the car all day and haven’t had any gains,” Earnhardt Jr told NASCAR. “… The car is just way too rough and has way too much movement and it’s hard to control it that way.”
