Watch Video: Kurt Busch Crash in Practice for Duck Commander 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup RaceOther than having to switch to his back-up car for Sunday’s NASCAR race from the Texas Motor Speedway, Kurt Busch is ok after a crash in practice for the Duck Commander 500 was caught on video. Viewers can watch the online video of Kurt Busch’s crash in Sprint Cup practice below.

Flames can be seen bursting out from Busch’s #41 Chevrolet after hitting the wall in Turn 3. The crash has since been blamed on a cut left rear tire. Shortly after the crash Busch was able to get out of his car unscathed – and was released from the infield care center after being checked out by the staff.

Busch told NASCAR reporters that, “There was no indication, it just started to separate in the middle of the back straightaway where the left rear has the most load.” Busch added, “We’re just trying to do a 20-lap run and get a gauge on our tires, and it didn’t make it to that 20-lap part.”

Busch’s team was reportedly seen unloading a backup car which he will have to use in Sunday’s Sprint Cup Duck Commander 500 race.

“We’ll see what this backup is,” Busch told reporters. “I know we’ve made a lot of changes in our mile-and-half program since Fontana, so I don’t know if this car got all the updates. We’ll try to see if we can match this car to our primary car.”
