Watch Video – Ndamukong Suh Stomps on Packer Player leading to his Ejection and Loss for Detroit

Watch Video of Ndamukong Suh as he stomps on Green Bay Player, leading to his ejection from Thursday’s game.

Despite a winning season and a strong showing in the first half of play, the Thanksgiving tradition including an NFL game featuring the Detroit Lions continued with a very one sided loss for the Lions. This was the 8th straight loss for the Lions.

But the headlines for the 1PM game between Detroit and Green Bay were not about the final 27-15 win for the Packers. Instead the attention was focused on the ejection of Detroit’s Ndamukong Suh.

Suh was ejected from the game after an unbelievable display of unsportsmanlike conduct unlike anything that has been need in some time. As can be seen in the video below, Ndamukong Suh can be seen stomping on an opposing player after first hold that player down by his head.

The game official and players had to push Suh off of the Packer player, but before he walked away, Suh can clearly be seen intentionally taking aim and stomping on the player who was still down on the field.

Not only way Suh’s behavior despicable and like that of a bratty child, it also cost his team 7 points and opened the game up for an eventual loss. Until this point, it had been a very close back and forth between the teams, and would have been only 7-3 had Detroit not missed a field goal at the end of the first half.

The Lions had just stopped Green Bay on third and goal when Suh lost his cool. The Packers wasted no time with their fresh set of downs. With Detroit’s biggest defensive asset now removed from the game, Green Bay scored on a pass to the endzone.

From that point on, the game became very one sided. Detroit threw several interceptions while Rogers continued an aerial assault against the Lions. It was not until the final two minutes of the game that Detroit finally scored their second touchdown, making the score appear like the game was closer than it actually was.

According to Suh, the play indicated that he was just trying to maintain his balance and did not intentionally step on the downed player, but the officials and the video seem to contradict him. “My intention was not to kick anybody, as I did not, removing myself,” Suh said. “I was on top of a guy, being pulled down, and trying to get up off the ground—and why you see me pushing his helmet down, because I’m trying to remove myself from the situation, and as I’m getting up, I’m getting pushed, so I’m getting myself on balance.”

This all comes on the heels of a reported $45,000 in fines from the league against Suh for his behavior on the field. It remains to be seen whether the NFL will impose any additional fines against Suh after Thursday’s game, and whether any type of suspension may be forthcoming.
